LANDSCAPE WITH SKYSCRAPERS 1-2-3

This warm rolling sceenery with skyscrapers from an urban landscape mixed together, create a bit of an unusual atmosphere I think….kind of the best from two worlds put together?

Keywords: highrise buildings, warm colors, small paintings, rolling landscape, landscape with skyscrapers

  1. Thank you Claudia! Yes, I think we kind of see it the same way, for me skyscrapers are like sculptures, both in the urban lanscape as well as in nature, just as giant rocks or even mountains are in nature. For me it is something they have in common an binds them together. That is kind of the essence of my idea that I am working on, to integrate architecture/sculpture in my art. Kind of landart on canvas if that makes any sence to you 🙂

  2. I love these. I saw the structures as giant stone pillars (maybe 20 feet tall or so), and then as skyscrapers, so I got two different senses of scale. And I love the acid yellow and calming peach colors together. Just wow!
